Ever tried second guessing Rafael Benitez ? If you are right,you will probably go into the Nostramadus family of thinkers. Liverpool's shock defeat (was it ?) to Barnsley very much sums up Liverpool's season so far. Not quite up to what they are capable of , and every possible thing going wrong.
Most of this is due to Benitez's tactical errors , which are far too many to list down.And he was astute enough to try and draw the fans towards him , diverting the blame on to the club's American owners. But Liverpool's major problems are those on the pitch.
With the Premier League trophy getting a we-will-try-again-next-season for another year (yawn!) and with the FA cup exit , Liverpool's season ,and to very great extent Rafa's managerial carrer , rests on the Champions League .That too won't be any easier as Liverpool face ,
arguably the best team in Europe this season- Inter Milan.
Can Rafael Benitez pull off something improbable and manage to stay on at Anfield? We are not far from an answer. Bring on the Nerazzurris !!

actually Mourinho said it last year , i mean with the kind of players they have if Benitez cannot even win one league leave winning atleast fighting like champions then any manager should have been sacked. i am surprised liverpool fans actually like him. come on the guy has won one worthwhile cup in an awesome final against AC Milam but that was that . people would start thinking only Gerrard is a good player in the team actually to say liverpool has a good team that may be cannot match others on talent but they used to play aggresive football . now they are struggling to score goals . it is a sad state for liverpool
